Bronner Bros. International Beauty Show is known for bringing out all the stars, and this year was no different. One star in particular Singer/Actress Demetria Mckinney, commonly known for her role on Tyler Perry's House of Payne stopped by the Nu Expressions booth to chat about her current projects. Demetria answered questions from fans about her music, hair, and of course this season's Real Housewives of Atlanta! She even surprised the audience with a sweet treat by giving a few short a cappella performances. The fans loved it and could not get enough!

Once the Q & A session was over, Demetria took photos with her fans and signed autographs. She is an absolute down to earth sweetheart and also showed love to Unrivaled Hair Creations Magazine's publisher, who was there getting coverage of the segment. Neyah Sohle’s Music Video Premiere For Hit Single “My First”

Singer/Songwriter Neyah Sohle has released her brand new music video for hit single "My First", off her debut album The Reinvention. The song quickly became a fan favorite, with its feel good up tempos and romantic lyrics. The highly anticipated music video was premiered on Valentine’s Day!

The music video for “My First” was filmed and directed by Cine Brothers, Tweedy Francis and Chad Wells. They wanted to go a step further than your average music video and really capture the essence of the song. The concept for the video touches on the serious matter of domestic violence and having the courage to leave in order to find out what true love is. The fans are definitely in for a treat with this one! Go ahead and check it out for yourself!

Layerz Educational Series Dry Waving Class

UHC Magazine’s publisher Robin Charles-Living was invited by hairstylist/instructor Mahogany Faye Porter to attend one of the first classes for her Layerz Educational Series. This particular class was focused on teaching the dry waving technique. The entire process was demonstrated on three live models as well as on manikins throughout the class. Mahogany also guided each student on how to successfully achieve the dry waving technique. By the end of the class she made sure every student felt comfortable enough to perform this new technique on their clients.

There was a really good turn out for the class, some students even traveled in from other cities and states. The students mingled and enjoyed lite bites after the instruction. Robin Charles-Living also spoke to the students about UHC Magazine and the importance of branding. The students seemed very receptive and eager to make their mark in the hair industry. UHC Magazine was definitely honored to be apart of such an amazing educational opportunity.
