UHC Magazine’s publisher Robin Charles-Living
was invited by hairstylist/instructor Mahogany Faye Porter to attend one of the
first classes for her Layerz Educational Series. This particular class was
focused on teaching the dry waving technique. The entire process was
demonstrated on three live models as well as on manikins throughout the class.
Mahogany also guided each student on how to successfully achieve the dry waving
technique. By the end of the class she made sure every student felt comfortable
enough to perform this new technique on their clients.
There was a really good turn out for the class,
some students even traveled in from other cities and states. The students
mingled and enjoyed lite bites after the instruction. Robin Charles-Living also
spoke to the students about UHC Magazine and the importance of branding. The
students seemed very receptive and eager to make their mark in the hair
industry. UHC Magazine was definitely honored to be apart of such an amazing
educational opportunity.
